Senior Project Design Engineer at Har/pris Environmental Systems, Inc. in Andover, MA
Work at established Specialty Equipment Supplier Contracting firm specializing in turn-key design, engineering and construction of highly customized Controlled Environment Rooms with temperature, relative humidity and cleanliness control. Duties:
Work with the internal Sales Engineering on reviewing project specifications and construction drawings and requirements to deliver a preliminary design for estimation purposes.
Manage design for Controlled Environment Rooms to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Perform thermal load calculations. Design customized refrigeration systems and prepare refrigeration plans including pipe sizing, equipment selection and layouts.
Perform moisture infiltration load calculations. Select humidification and dehumidification equipment and methods to meet custom requirements. Design equipment layout and controls.
Design / Modify PLC based customized Control panels.
Work closely with the Construction Managers on each project as a part of the Project Management team.
Communication and coordination with vendors. Materials requisitions and project buy-out.
Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
1 year of hands-on experience with:
